Welcome to Across the Storm

Hey! I'm Taizei, the developer of Echoes of the Town. This is the new game I've been working on. If you've seen me mention Project Island, you're in the right place!

Across the Storm is a simulation game set around an archipelago. Build your house, drive around the islands, spend some time fishing, or take a plane out over the coast. There's plenty of room to get away from it all. That storm on the horizon, though? It never seems to settle.

An early look at ATS — visuals and gameplay are still in development.

The Kickstarter page is up!

The campaign hasn't started yet, but you can follow it now. Hit Notify me on launch on Kickstarter and you'll hear when it goes live. If the game looks like your thing, I'd really appreciate the support.

A home of your own

House building is part of what I'm working on for ATS. The building system is still in development; I'll be sharing more as it takes shape.

Take the long way around

Drive around the islands, or head up into the air for a different view. Yes, you can fly the plane! Here's a little early footage along the coast.

Maybe the fish can wait

Or take things a bit slower. Find a spot by the shore, cast a line, and spend some time by the water.

Some of the people you'll meet

There's a new cast here too: Kurt, a pilot; Saya, who's into fashion and code; Nagisa, a fisherman's daughter who loves surfing; Elise, the local pastry owner; and Tomoe, the local doctor.

Still in the works

This is an early look at the game, so the visuals and gameplay you see here may change. I'll keep sharing progress as I go. Follow this page or the Kickstarter if you'd like to keep up!
